AMAZING SERVICE and GREAT FOOD!! My parents have been going for a long time but when they dragged me out I finally understood why! Henry, Rashida, Rosa and Brittany are just a few of the amazing people that make the place friendly and inviting. The food is flavorful and the amount given is perfect. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone that is looking for great food and relaxing night!

My first time here. Excellent happy hour menu. With food specials. Their kids night allows two children per one adult, which is amazing. Had the enchiladas and they were excellent. Service was good. Cozy place, nice atmosphere. Menu prices were average for the area, not expensive but not taco Cabana either. We will definitely be going back.

This place has it all. Great food. Great service and the drinks are the best in Carrollton. Nice laid back atmosphere and if you are making it a family night, there’s even a patio with a playground for the kids. This place has become my family’s go to spot for some time now and we absolutely love it.

Great food, great service, and the kids can play outside. The la vista tacos, carne asada, and ribeye are awesome dishes!

Great customer service Server and manger constantly checked on us. Clean and friendly environment. Cool for a quick bite or maybe a lil date! Will be returning the food was good!

Did not answer the phone for to go orders even though I called three times after 11 am when they are supposed to be open. Don’t advertise your phone number on the side of the road if you aren’t answering the phone

One of the best margaritas in town! Food is good. The chicken pops are the best! Service and atmosphere is great. There is even a playground in the patio area for the kids.

WOW! The chicken & beef combination fajitas were cooked just right & were so tender you could cut them with a fork. I ordered the one for two people but it ended up being three of us sharing them. There was plenty for all & even a little bit leftover.I also ordered the guacamole which is prepared fresh & it was delicious too.I was very impressed with the speed and quality. I highly recommend it!

If I could do a negative star I would! My waiter was terrible and slow. He was some young kid. On the flip side the what I assume is the manger was polite and efficent. Fire the kid its Tuesday nite we got there at 8pm sat by the sun statue. Trust me he's dead weight!

Great Lil' Tex-Mex joint in our neighborhood area that we frequent several times a month. I order the house frozen margarita and add a "floater" tequila shot on top. Perfect balance of flavor & 'bite'! Not too 'strong' / not too sweet either (IMO! 😉 ... as I am not a fan of overly sweet margaritas that taste like lemon-lime slurpee). Wife loves 😍 the seafood enchiladas! ...and on occasion, I've been known to order the veggie- fajitas. And of course there is plenty of tried-&-true, Tex-Mex favorites as well: tacos , enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, etc. AND, they have an outdoor playground area for the younger kids.

Love going here on Mondays! Kids eat free. Great salsa. Outdoor playground and patio.

Best Bacon wrapped Shrimp with the best Cilantro lime rice you will EVER have in your life. No joke, this place is the bomb.

Fajitas were okay not enough taste to come back (not fresh poorly seasoned), chips and tortillas- very poor quality you may consider upgrading the quality of your tortillas. Flan was not homemade, horrible taste and quality. Music played salsa so loud I could not hear my server, please play Mexican music this is not a Cuban Resturant (does not match atmosphere). Service was okay, so far poor quality Tex-Mex food. If you think this place is worth five stars you need to get out more.

I'm an enchilada freak and they're very good here. Salsa is also awesome. Friendly staff and close to home cant Beat It.

Hands down best place in the area. Great food, I've ordered something different everytime I go and have never been disappointed! The playground for the kids is a little out dated but I'll take it over McDonalds any day. My husband and I can sit on the patio have a margarita and actually have a conversation while the kids play.

Ordered.a chicken chimichanga for lunch off the regular menu. The dish was bland and uninspiring - chunks of white meat wrapped in a flour tortilla and fried. I did not eat all of it. The service was ok and friendly. The dining area was a bit dated but clean. Would not eat here again.

There are several options for Tex-Mex in north Carrollton. You would have to be a fool to choose any place other than La Vista. They will hook you with their frozen margaritas. The food is better than the competition (by a large margin!) and they have a playground for the kids to go crazy. So the adults can sip away on La Vista’s alcoholic margarita slurpees. The Tuesday $5 taco is a particular delight for me and mine. One for now, one for lunch the next day. Don’t forget the salsa! It’s the best in Carrollton, in my humble opinion. Ohh by the way, they sell it by the quart.

Very good food. Manager Henry will make sure you have a good dining experience.Margaritas are very good, one of the best in north metro area. Love the salsa and chips. Sorta off the beaten path as far as location. But, I would, consider it one of Carrolltons hidden gems.

The shrimp cocktail was yum! Spicy with lots of avocado. Grilled chicken and veggies was great. Love the zucchini

Sour cream sauce on the shrimp enchiladas was good but there wasn't enough of it. There was also no cheese inside like the description said. Shrimp was really good, small but charred like fajita meat. I think they were overwhelmed with two big tables of people so that may have affected food quality and service. I'll try it again.

Awesome! Luke is a great server, a little unassertive, but he kept our table looking good! The manager, Henry, was very involved in our experience. Turns out he's the GM! He even found my sunglasses for me. The food was great! The taco tuesday special is amazing. The margaritas were a little smokey, but very well balanced. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Be aware that it's a thin cut ribeye. The sides served were a great compliment for it. The bartenders here are awesome, very accommodating. Ask for a taste of the spicy tequila! Definitely a place to be known as a regular! And they've got a great playground for the kids.

La Vista is great! From the parking lot you can smell the food. We were seated quickly for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The fajitas, brisket tacos an margaritas were awesome. Def 5 stars! Will bring my family here soon.

My husband and I both love this Mexican restaurant! The staff are so very friendly and their food is excellent. We especially enjoy their fajitas.

I celebrated my graduation last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a brilliant evening and the restaurant was definitely one of the reasons for this successful celebration. The waiters collaborated in a gorgeous style, the cuisine was delicious and my buddies were very happy. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

This is a really good Mexican restaurant. Thier prices are not crazy, they have good food and good portion sizes. Thier house margarita has a good taste, it is a good size and is not over priced. A lot of Mexican restaurants have bad or overpriced or tiny house margaritas but la vista has a good one!
